
Across it's campus, Cornell offers multiple reusable dishware systems to its student body. However, the array of systems can be confusing, as many of these systems run independently from each other. To help you navigate your options as a Cornelian, we have gathered and laid out the varying systems below:

Reusable Takeout Containers
How to Use: Bring your container with you to any Cornell dining hall and swap it out for a new container with the door checker. Once you have a new container, you can fill your container with food from the dining hall's various food stations.
Participating location(s): All eight of Cornell's Residential Dining Halls (North Campus, West Campus, and Okeinshields)
Container Policy: You must purchase a Cornell Green Box, you are not allowed to supply your own container
Cost Structure: First container costs $5; however, all following container exchanges are completely free.
Cleaning Policy: Containers are required to be rinsed, but not fully cleaned before return.

Reusable Mug Program
How to Use: Bring your own clean cup, mug, or tumbler to any particpating Cornell Cafe location, and you will recieve a 10% discount on any self-serve hot or iced coffee, tea, and fountain beverages.
Participating location(s):Amit Bhatia Libe Cafe, Atrium Café, Bear Necessities, Big Red Barn, Bus Stop Bagels, Café Jennie, Dairy Bar, Goldie's Cafe, Green Dragon, Jansen’s Market, Mann Café, Martha’s Café, Mattin’s, Novick's Café, Rusty’s, Straight from the Market, Trillium, and Vet College Café
Container Policy: You may supply your own cup, mug, or tumblr. Reusable stainless steel coffee mugs are avaliable at coffee house's and cafes, but purchase is not required to use system.
Cost Structure: You recieve a 10% discount on your beverage.
Cleaning Policy: Containers are required to be fully cleaned before use.

Bulk Grocery Product Containers
How to Use: Bring your own clean container to fill up with bulk grocery items at Anabel's Grocery, and you will recieve a 5% discount on your bulk grocery items
Participating location(s): Anabel's Grocery (Located in Anabel Taylor Hall)
Container Policy: You may supply your own container. Jars are avaliable for purchase, but purchase is not required
Cost Structure: You recieve a 5% discount on your bulk items.
Cleaning Policy: Containers are required to be fully cleaned before use.
